Contest Rules & Eligibility Requirements

Prize Details

The winner will receive a FREE A/C system to replace existing outdoor condenser and indoor coil. New system will match existing system capacity. We will connect to existing air handler, electric circuit, ductwork refrigerant and condensate lines. Estimated value: $7,000.

What’s Not Included

The following items are not included in the prize and are the homeowner’s responsibility: Upgrades or modifications required by code or manufacturer; connections to existing air conditioning systems; asbestos abatement, ductwork repair or replacement, or other hazardous material removal.

Who Can Enter

Open to homeowners of owner-occupied, single-family homes. To keep things manageable, entries are limited to homeowners in the following zip codes: 91001, 91016, 91106, 91105, 91107, 91104, 91011, 91006, 91103, 91030, 91024, 91108, 91101, 91007, 91803, 91780, 91775, 91010, 90077, 90041, 91765, 91745, 91801, 91206, 91776, 90210
Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Contest is void where prohibited by law.
Employees of the sponsoring company and their immediate family members are not eligible.

Eligible Systems

Contest applies only to HVAC systems with outdoor condenser and indoor coil.
Wall and window units are not eligible.
The existing system must:
- Be operational or have been in use within the past year.
- Be connected to ductwork and existing controls.
- Have a visible name plate with legible model and serial number.

How to Enter

Read the rules and verify you meet the eligibility requirements.
Upload a photo of your air conditioner and submit your entry, including your name, address, email, and phone number. If possible, include at least one clear photo showing the model/serial number.
Air-Tro, Inc. will contact you to verify your entry with a free system evaluation to confirm eligibility.
One entry per person. One entry per home. Entries must be received by June 21, 2026.

How the Winner Is Chosen

The grand prize winner will be selected based on the age of the existing A/C system, verified by model and serial number.
The ugliest, old unit will be chosen by our staff.
Air-Tro reserves the right to disqualify entries that cannot be verified.
In the event of a tie, a random drawing will determine the winner.
All decisions are final.

Winner Announcement

The winner will be selected on July 6, 2026 and notified by phone or email.
The winner’s name will be posted online by July 20, 2026.
By entering, the winner agrees that Air-Tro may use their name, image, and before/after photos in marketing materials.

Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes associated with the prize.

How to Find Your A/C’s Age

Look for a label or sticker on your system usually near the front panel or inside the cabinet.
If there’s no date visible, just provide your best estimate, and we’ll help confirm if you’re a finalist.
