Helping to Find Comfort at Home-Away-From-Home with the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House is committed to creating a community where children and their families embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage, and joy. The House was built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child — not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest.

It is the House’s belief that when a child is hospitalized, the love and support of the family are as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed. They continuously hear from families how grateful they are to have had a comfortable, peaceful place to rest, de-stress, and get a wonderful home-cooked meal, while still being just steps away from their child when they need them the most.

The Walk for Kids took place Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Shoreline Park. Together, over $260,000 was raised for the Ronald McDonald House. Air-Tro was happy to participate and is proud to support those making a difference in our local community.
